Nusa Dua, Kuta, Ubud Bali, Indonesia November 30 - December 17, 2007. |
I visited Bali in December of 2007 for that year's major round of climate change talks (UNFCCC COP13). I was affiliated with SustainUS and filled 16 hour days with blogging, lobbying, agitating, organizing, and being electrified with the possibility of solving the world's largest crisis.
I also discovered arak, Balinese distilled palm wine.
There is nothing so satisfying as fighting climate change with some of the world's most unbelievably smart and beautiful people - that is, the International Youth Caucus.
