Research
As of Autumn 2008, I am a PhD student in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management at the University of California, Berkeley. I am in the Society & Environment Division under Dr. Carolyn Finney.
My research interests are concentrated in the field of international climate change policy, in particular:
- Impact of climate change policies upon resource-dependent communities, women, and indigenous people
- Distribution of climate change adaptation funding
- climate change related environmental refugees/IDPs
- Perverse incentives in international climate change policymaking, particularly the clean development mechanism of the Kyoto Protocol
- decarbonization of development
- International Advocacy Networks
